KIM BANTING, RNCP, Holistic Nutritionist
Kim Banting is a Registered Nutritionist in good standing with the International Organization of Nutritional Consultants. She graduated with honours from the Global College of Natural Medicine in California in 2009 and has been practising in her home business, "Flourish!", ever since. Kim is very active in community organizations, volunteering her time to the Mississauga Older Adults Centre, Senior's Live Enhancement Centre, Peel Elder Abuse Prevention Network, Catholic Family Services and the High Park Children's Garden and The Greenest City, community cooking school for Parkdale's youth.
A chef, first and foremost, Kim has a true passion for good, healthy food. It was while working as a personal chef for a client with extreme food sensitivities that Kim was amazed by his health improvements using changes with food over the course of only 10 short weeks. She now offers a meal service that focuses on delivering anti-inflammatory, gluten-free, dairy-free meals to help heal and rebalance the body. She uses as many local, organic and seasonal foods as possible to provide the highest quality meals for the most economical price.
For the past 3 years, Kim has been excited to be part of organizing and building a learning garden at Shelter Bay PS in Mississauga for the students. She sees the great need for young people to understand that wholesome food comes from nature and wants to show the children that it is fun to grow your own food!
Hours at this location:
Fridays 9am-12:30pm, 5:30pm-8pm
